Dedication
I started this these websites to promote my music and digital media services. However I want to acknowledge and dedicate them to my father who started me on the many paths that led me to where I am today. He was a camera buff, amateur filmmaker, actor and script writer. He collected many state of the art still cameras, film cameras, projectors, recording equipment and also made some of his own equipment. He passed on when I was 25 and I inherited most of his tools and equipment. On the following page I relate stories of how my dad and mom helped me get started in each area of service. Music. I started studying piano when I was 10 after telling my parents I wanted to learn. They shipped the old clunky piano down from my grandfathers house. When I was a teenager my dad bought me a portable organ and small amplifier. It was one of the happiest days of my life. He insisted the store throw in a chromatic harmonica into the deal which they did and he insisted I learn to play it which I didn't. I later learned to play blues harmonica. Video My dad got an acting job in a very low budget western as the town drunk. They filmed it in Corriganville Movie Ranch, California, where The lone ranger and Rin Tin Tin were filmed along with thousands of other westerns. We went out to see the shoot and they drafted my sister as an extra. The budget was so low that they talked my dad into buying the film for the movie. He never got reimbursed and the film was never shown in a theater that we know of, but what a great experience. Photography My dad taught me to use his German Contaflex SLR when I was a kid. I later inherited it . Although I've gone to other SLRs and digital since then, that was a great camera.
